FRENSHAM, SURREY

This pretty, but tired, Edwardian Country House has so much potential. The plans to turn this into an impressive, homely and magical Edwardian Country Manor have been approved and work has started. 

Interior key objectives - 

• Three main words to reflect throughout the property - enchanting, family, welcoming
• Of great importance is respecting the properties heritage whilst embracing modern enhancements fit for a large family to feel at home
• Creating spaces to hold regular family gatherings, hosting events and entertaining guests both inside and out
• A play on inside-meets-outside. Creating a hall which would feel as natural to lead you straight outdoors again as it would to lead you into the family home. The interiors spill into the outside, with the addition of a Loggia so that dining and entertaining outside can take place all year round. 
• Celebrating the owners personalities
• To have a few hidden gems around the property, there is more than meets the eye

Working closely alongside architects Ian Adam-Smith from the very start to make this dream come true in the most cohesive way possible. 

Set within 18 acres of wood and parkland we have also been working with the Landscape Designers on the formal and informal garden designs, making sure the views from inside the house looking out are as good as outside looking in!
